Tar Heels' Andrew Miller Claims 2006 Roger Clemens Award

-North Carolina left-hander Andrew Miller, who led his team to the championship round of the College World Series, won the third annual Roger Clemens Award on Wednesday night. The Houston Astros pitcher presented Miller the award that honors the top pitcher in college baseball during a sold-out banquet. "I was almost certain it would be somebody else," Miller said. "I didn't think I had a chance with the numbers the others guys put up. I would never have thought this could happen. More @ CSTV.com

Northern Colorado Adds Four Recruits

University of Northern Colorado head baseball coach Kevin Smallcomb announced the addition of four players for his 2007 recruiting class on Wednesday. The class includes Matt Buck (Cave Creek, Ariz./Chandler-Gilbert C.C.), Dan Kazell (Arvada, Colo./Mesa C.C.), Travis "T.R." Adelphi's Myers Named ACBL All-Star

Adelphi University baseball player Michael Myers (Wantagh, N.Y.) was selected to play in the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League All-Star game as a pitcher. The game will took place on Saturday, July 8 on Metzger Field on the campus of Lafayette College. Myers pitched for the Kaiser Division, which lost to the Wolff Division, 9-0. More @ CSTV.com
